Amazon echo buds

Amazon may be new to hardware design but right off the bat echo buzz have established themselves it’s a solid contender in the earbud competition. Like many wireless earbuds on our list, the echo buds come with a charging case that has a built-in magnet so the earbuds snap-in easily when fully charged. They have around four and a half to five hours of battery life. Echo buds are particularly snug fitting and comfortable and they come with three sizes of silicone ear tips for adjustable comfort. This field and ear design keep back-row noise at a minimum in fact noise canceling with ease are excellent and the sound quality is rich and clothes even rivaling Apple in this category. Echo buds have an IP X for sweat and water resistance rating which means that they have decent protection against splashing water, of course, there’s hands-free access to Alexa but there’s also compatibility with Siri and Google assistant. powerbeats

For those of you who are fans of beats by dr. dre these are the latest truly wireless earbuds. The same brand, the case is a little bit larger than some other earbud cases and it has a single battery charging port in the back, as well as a battery indicator, LED light in the front. When it comes to the life of the battery itself get ready because these earbuds have enough power in them to last for an impressive nine hours of use. In terms of fit and comfort the ear hooks are fully adjustable and throughout trials have proven multiple times or they stay put so it makes them an excellent choice for athletes. They also come with four sizes of interchangeable rubber ear tips when it comes to splash and sweat resistance. The power base received an IP x4 rating and in terms of audio quality. These earbuds like other beads are all about that face some may even say it’s too strong with a base noise-canceling abilities aren’t that great either. Because of the spacer on the earbud sits in your ear and there are some compatibility problems that unfortunately we’re used to with Apple products, for instance, there is no way to check the battery power of the power beats if you’re using an Android phone or in other words any phone that’s not an iPhone plus it’s not compatible with any voice assistance other than you guessed it, Siri.

5. Samsung Galaxy buds

Samsung galaxy Buds

These come with three sizes of both ear tips and wingtips and when to put their tests were found to be stable and do a pretty good job of staying put battery life is around six hours for listening and five hours for talking. And the wireless charging case has that convenient exterior LED light that indicates when it’s charging. The IP rating here is a little bit lower than some of its competitors with IPX2 that can withstand a very small amount of moisture. The audio quality is excellent and balanced with a slightly strong base that’s probably made even better by the fact that you’re able to customize the size of the earphones to best fit your ear. As we all know one of the biggest problems with wireless earbuds is how easily they can get lost. Samsung is thought of as a clever solution to this problem by putting a locator inside the app this means if you can’t find one or both of your earbuds you simply go into the app and it’ll help you track them down by playing a high-pitched tone. As for some downsides, these earbuds are not the best when it comes to calling quality. In addition, there are a couple of compatibility issues to put it plain and simple the galaxy buds work best with Samsung devices. The audio quality is just not consistent across all devices specifically on Google phones. It can get a little glitchy even though the Samsung Galaxy buds are compatible with both Android and iOS, the app itself is not available for iOS which means that iPhone users are not going to be able to customize their experience.

Tozo T10

When fully charged each earbud has a battery life of around three and a half hours with the charging case holding about nine hours. How long they retain battery it tends to depend on what volume you’re listening to as well as other factors like external temperature. When it comes to comfort, the ergonomic design makes these excellent for athletes. There are no ear hooks but the earbuds do come with four sizes of plastic ear cups so that you can adjust the fit to your comfort. In terms of water resistance, they’re rated IPX8 which means they can be submerged and up to one meter of water for about thirty minutes. Without suffering any damage this is the absolute best waterproofing certification that can be found on any pair of earbuds. The sound quality is natural and clear but for a downside, these earbuds do not include an equalizer so adjusting the soundscape to accommodate different types of music is impossible.

3. Apple Airpods

Airpods

It is the first in the scene back when truly wireless earbuds first came into existence. And today there’s still one of the most popular earbuds on the market. Earbuds come with a fully wireless charging case that on its own can hold about 19 hours of battery and the Air pods themselves have about five-hour battery life. Thanks to the case, just 15 minutes of charging are going to buy you about three hours of listening. iPhone users also have the option of Siri who can be activated by double-tapping or calling out her name. In terms of moisture resistance, the Air pods have a standard rating of IPX4. In terms of comfort, if you have small and symmetrical ears you’re probably going to find these earbuds the most comfortable. However because Air pods do not come with any adjustable fins or ear cups, there’s no guarantee that they’re going to be comfortable for everyone. This is why there’s also varying the air pod sound quality. All of the sound quality is rated as pretty good noise canceling and overall sound quality largely depends on how well the earbud feels your ear. And due to the airpath of a disability, this is going to be different for everyone.

Sony Ear buds

Weighing only 14 grams, each Sony’s noise-canceling earbuds give you six continuous hours of music. Each earphone has a tiny touchpad with controls that you can customize in Sony’s connect companion app and another sound perk is the audio upscaler which takes low-resolution audio and app scales at a higher resolution quality. All this end it’s noise-canceling capabilities rate the sony air buds audio quality as excellent in terms of downsides. These guys didn’t actually receive an official IP rating so its difficult to determine water and sweat resistance. Sony has said however that they’re not designed for workouts and this is the fact that they don’t even have a nano-coating. It’s a help wick water away means that they most likely have little to no moisture resistance.

1. Bose SoundSportFree

Bose Soundsport free

The Bose sound sport earbuds take our top spot for being the best overall truly wireless headphones that also happen to be 100% waterproof. They come with 5-hour battery life and the charging case gives up to 2 extra charges for about 15 hours in total. They passed the running test by staying securely in the ear thanks to the silicone ear tips. The wingtips are flexible and gripped comfortably ambient noise does easily permeate the seal. But workout enthusiasts will love the fact that these are waterproof. You can just rinse them off after you use them and never have to worry about them in the rain connection is just a breeze you simply download the Bose Connect app and pair to your phone’s Bluetooth. In terms of downsides, some may not consider these earbuds the most aesthetically attractive.
